Ghana Unity DAO and Harmony One present the second edition of Web 3 Accra, featuring Afrochella, Royals NTF Collection, Social Stack, Levels Unlocked and The Esports Ghana Association, which will take place on July 29 and 30 at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel, Otium and BBnZ Live.
Following the inaugural event in April 2022. Ghana Unity DAO, a digitally native network of entrepreneurs with a shared mission to foster the Web 3 community in Ghana and neighbouring countries, will host a two-day conference in Accra.
Those participating include Abena Soreno, Dentaa Amoateng MBE, Del Titus Bawuah, Alvin Bekoe, Bozoma Saint John, Hans Boateng, Yele Bademosi, Melita Moore and Kwame Opoku.
Others are Edward Asafo Adjaye, Jake Bediako, Adiam Gafoo, Carlos Bustamante, Fatima Tambajang, Chelsea Miller, Kwasi Hayford, Ewurabena Ashun, Berima Adjei.
This is to explore the impact and potential of blockchain technology in Africa in an effort to keep the continent and Ghana's burgeoning technology sector at the forefront of innovation.
Diverse panel discussions, keynote addresses, fireside chats, interactive activations and many more from experts and thought leaders in the Web 3 sector will be included at the Web 3 Accra conference.
The activities of Web 3 Accra are a part of a larger strategy to create an open and diverse digital environment, which is being driven by thought leaders and stakeholders in Ghana.
Ghana Unity DAO
The Ghana Unity DAO at Web 3 Accra would announce the recipients of its $1 million Harmony One Fund to help Ghana's young prepare for a tech-driven future, bridging Silicon Valley and Accra.
The Royals NFT collection
The Royals NFT Collection will officially launch its exclusive sovereign offering to the Ghanaian Web 3 community delivered by founder Dr Hans Boateng in a fireside chat with Lady Dentaa Amoateng.
Social Stack
SocialStack “Activist in Residence” Chelsea Miller will showcase and create local opportunities through rewards, actions & interactive social impact Web 3-based platform.
Afrofuturism presented by Web 3 Accra & Afrochella
Afrofuturism is a newly formed partnership between Web 3 Accra & Afrochella with a vision to merge culture and Web 3 in the events space through music and various Afro-cultural experiences.
Levels Unlocked & Esports Ghana Association
The future of Esports in Ghana, hosted by Levels unlocked & the Esports Ghana Association, will bring together gaming, VR and esports health in a unique inclusive format for the up-and-coming industry in Ghana.
