Organising for a Better Ghana, a movement of young people and professionals in support of the Better Ghana Agenda of the President Mills-led government, has launched a website www.attamills.orgto support the president. The information portal, funded through contributions from members is aimed at galvanising country-wide support for the Better Ghana Agenda of the Mills-Mahama government.A release issued by the movement stated: “The portal seeks to provide first-hand information on the Better Ghana Agenda vision and the various activities that are being undertaken by the government throughout the country to ensure that the vision is realised. The group believes that, the 2012 elections would be won by technology and social media as Ghana’s youth have become technologically inclined and are hooked unto the social media bandwagon therefore whoever wins the technology/social media battle will eventually emerge the winner. Having realised this, Organising for a Better Ghana will use the power of social media to educate, inspire and gather significant votes for president Mills come 2012.”The group believes that Ghana is currently moving in the right direction, hence the need to give President Mills and his team a second term to accomplish the many good projects and programmes that they have started.“We are therefore calling on every Ghanaian living everywhere especially the youth, to rise and join the struggle to make President Mills’ Better Ghana Vision a reality... after enduring eight years of hardship, bad economic management and corruption [under the NPP government]”.Source: Victor Yao Apeletey
