The Paramount Chief of the Wenchi Traditional Area, Osagyefo Ampem Anyye Amoampong Tabrako III, has reiterated the need for unity in his traditional area.
“Our focus is to develop Wenchi, so we have to be strong and united since no one person can achieve development, it has to be a united people," he stated.
"We work together and strengthen our relationships, and when we are looking for investment opportunities for our area, the investors will be motivated by our unity and strengthen, then they will participate and help us develop Wenchi," Osagyefo Tabrako added.
The Paramount Chief of Wenchi Traditional Area was speaking at a durbar to commemorate the fifth anniversary of his coronation as the Paramount Chief of Wenchi in the Bono Region.
He was carried in a palanquin through the principal streets of Wenchi amidst singing, dancing and drumming symbolically to show that there is a Paramount Chief for Wenchi.

Osagyefo Tabrako expressed gratitude to the chiefs and the people of Wenchi for their commitment towards making the celebration process peaceful.
He admonished traditional authorities under his jurisdiction to work hand-in-hand with other stakeholders to preserve the Wenchi tradition.

About the upcoming December 7 general election, Osagyefo Tabrako advised the people of Wenchi to be extra tolerant and avoid violent incidents before, during and after polls.
“We all know Wenchi is lagging in the development race, so please let’s just be calm and exercise our franchise in a manner that will bring accelerated development to our communities,” he emphasised.
For his part, the Paramount Chief of Dormaa and the President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, Osagyefo Oseadieyo Dr Agyemang Badu, commended the Paramount Chief of Wenchi on his fifth coronation anniversary.
He said that the people of Wenchi are lucky to have Osagyefo Tabrako as their Paramount Chief since he has displayed exemplary leadership so far.
He also urged the people of Wenchi to continue to support the overlord and give him the necessary cooperation to succeed so that the larger Bonoman could also progress.
