The Acting Managing Director of Ghana Post, Nicholas Dery, says findings and recommendations made by a committee set up to investigate complaints at the company are being implemented.
“The minister has passed on the administrative enquiry report to the board to implement and that is what they are implementing,” he said.
The Communications Minister Haruna Iddrissu soon after assuming office established a committee to investigate allegations of impropriety against the management of the postal services.
Aspects of the findings made public border on good governance, financial malfeasance and the need to resume the internal money transfer service.
Mr. Dery was speaking to Joy Business in reaction to suggestions that findings of that committee have been shelved.
He promised a complete overhaul of the Ghana Post which would see a change in logos and other symbols of the company.
