A 44-year-old Western Regional Lands Officer has been enstooled as the Ntotoyɛhene (Chief of Staff) of the New Juaben Traditional Area in the Eastern Region.

He succeeds Nana Dr Ofosu Achiaw Brempong, of blessed memory.
Known in private life as Eugene Asante Boateng, the chief now bears the stool name Nana Asante Boateng I. He brings extensive experience in land administration and surveying. He is expected to support the Paramount Chief in addressing longstanding issues relating to stool lands within the New Juaben Traditional Area.
