Western Union Money Transfer on Friday rewarded 96 lucky customers with scholarships to climax this year’s Back to School promotion.
The promotion is held every year and it’s geared towards supporting education at the basic level. This year, aside winning instant stationary, the money transfer company added a scholarship package worth GHC 25,000 .
The draw was held in the northern and southern sector, where the 96 customers were selected.
The draw and presentation which took place at the premises of the Agricultural Development Bank (Danquah Circle Branch)saw two people, Richard Koranteng and Stephen Mintah walked away with a whopping GHC 2,000 as first winners.
The second prize of GHC 1,000 was awarded to Comfort Dei and Elizabeth Yaa Boadiwaa. The third prize winners, Kevin Asare and Matthew Ogbonu also walked away with GHC 500 each whilst 90 other winners walked away with various cash prizes.
