A ten-day training course on soap and pomade making for 32 trainees drawn from Nkawie and its surrounding villages has ended at Toase in the Atwima-Nwabiagya District.
It was jointly organised by the Atwima-Nwabiagya District Assembly and the Business Advisory Centre (BAC) of the Rural Enterprises Project.
Mr Thomas Ofori Donkor, Atwima-Nwabiagya District Chief Executive, whose speech was read on his behalf, urged the trainees to form co-operatives to enable the assembly give them funding to set up their businesses.
Mr Benson Adjei, Head of the BAC, said the Centre periodically trained people to acquire skills in trade.
He urged them not to allow their training go waste but to constantly put into practice what they had learnt.
