A hearing in the fraud case against businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome was adjourned because the machine used to record witness testimony malfunctioned.
Joy News’ correspondent Anny Osabutey reported that the machine failed to record the testimony of the fifth witness, Mr. Linus Dosoo, a former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana. The failure compelled presiding judge Justice Adjet Nasam to adjourn the case to Tuesday March 5, 2013.
Before today’s adjournment, the case had previously been adjourned six consecutive times as a result of the inability of the state to produce witnesses in court.
