Ghana striker Yakubu Mohammed is delighted and promised to score more goals after finding the back of the net on his PSL debut for Maritzburg United.
The former Ashanti Gold striker scored the only goal which gave Ernst Middendorp's side a 1-0 win over newly- promoted side Polokwane city on Saturday.
In an exclusive interview with Joy sports, the 24-year-old noted that he is delighted to make a dream start to his life in the South African league.
"Now that I have announced my presence here, I will make sure I continue working hard to be consistent in front of goal," Mohammed told Joy Sports.
"It was great scoring on my debut and I believe this will continue. The league here is different from that of Ghana but I'm glad I have been able to quickly adapt to the weather and their style of play.
"I want to score more goals for the club but I know is a gradual process and can only work hard towards it."
