Young Plant Physiologist Isaac Osei Bonsu has won the ultimate GHC100,000 prize in the Tigo Super Play Promotion.
Isaac, who holds a Master of Philosophy in Plant Physiology from University of Ghana, previously won GHC20,000 in one of the monthly draws during the four-month-long promotion.
When Isaac won the GHC20,000 he told Adom News he was going to use the money to finance his doctorate degree in Ghana, but with GHC100,000 he said he would go abroad for the course.
He told Adom News he initially doubted the promotion but he had a vision of having won the GHC100,000 so he decided to give it a try.
“I did not believe in the whole promotion but I had a vision of having won so I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. I believe it is by God’s grace that I have won and I thank Tigo for availing themselves for God to use them to be a blessing to me,” Isaac said in a rather cool a collected tone.
Isaac urged other Tigo customers to give such promotions a try because he is an example of a doubting Thomas whose doubts has been crashed with at least GHC120,000 out of about GHC300,000 given away in prizes during the Tigo Super Play Promo.
One journalist, Eron Mensah also won one of the monthly ultimately prizes of GHC20,000.
In total Tigo gave away about GHC300,000 in cash prizes and some 80 BlackBerry Curve handsets worth over GHC22,000 to some 291 out of almost one million customers who participated in the Super Play.
Participants had to text answers to questions on short code 2020 and accumulate points for daily, weekly and monthly prizes.
