President John Dramani Mahama has delivered an inspiring inaugural speech, assuring Ghanaians that their voices would be central to his administration's decisions.
Speaking at a well-attended ceremony in Accra, the President underscored the importance of participatory governance, vowing to uphold the democratic principles that empower citizens to influence the nation's development.
"Your voices will matter in this government," he stated emphatically, garnering applause from the audience.

In his speech, President Mahama acknowledged the challenges the country faces but emphasised the importance of working together to overcome them. "
No single leader or political party can achieve greatness alone; it takes the united effort of every Ghanaian," he said.
He further urged citizens to actively participate in the governance process, asserting that their insights and feedback are crucial in shaping policies that reflect the true needs of the nation.
The President concluded his address with a heartfelt appeal for unity and resilience. "Let us move forward as one people with a shared destiny, knowing that every voice, every effort, and every dream counts," he remarked.
