Mr Richard Nii Amarh, spokesperson for “Youth for Nduom 2012”, a committee to explore Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom’s viability as a Presidential candidate of the Convention People’s Party, on Friday said the CPP was the only party that could save Ghanaians from their present economic hardship.
He appealed to the electorate to vote massively for the CPP in next year’s general election in order to see improvement in their living conditions.
Nii Amarh, who was speaking in an interview with the GNA in Koforidua, said the CPP had done good things before and could do better things if given the mandate.
He said the committee was touring the regions to find out if Ghanaians thought Dr Nduom could be a better President or not, why he lost the 2008 election and what he could do to win the 2012 elections.
Nii Amarh said the committee had given questionnaires to all their volunteers in the regions who were interviewing people at the grassroots to find out their views about Dr Nduom and his 2012 ambitions.
The committee had been to Central, Western, Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Upper West and East, Northern and Eastern regions.
Nii Amarh appealed to people in the regions to be honest with them in answering the questions for them to know the correct situation on the ground.
