Some youth in Walewale in the Northern Region are up in arms with the District Chief Executive for the area. They are accusing Lord Abudu Zakari of neglecting development projects, often using abusive language against his subordinates just because they fail to report to his office. The Youth Leader Alhaji Abubakari Sulemana who is leading the demonstration said the DCE must step down immediately. The demonstrators say Mr Zakari had shown sufficient disinterest in the development of the district and therefore did not deserve to be maintained in office.Alhaji Sulemana said the DCE was notorious for arbitrariness and autocratic administration, frequent unofficial travels outside the district and absenteeism without explanation.According to the demonstrators, Mr Zakari is noted for treating his subordinates with scant regard, using abusive words on them and violently attacking them.Source: Joy News/Ghana
