The Information Minister also revealed that the country's active cases have reduced drastically.
"Ghana’s Covid-19 active cases continue to see a decline with the current figure at 564. That is from the total confirmed cases of 45, 655 out of which 44, 797 have already recovered and been discharged.
"Now 54 new cases have been recorded while 294 have unfortunately passed," he added.
Mr Oppong Nkrumah used the platform to urge the public to continue adhering to all the Covid-19 preventive protocols outlined by government.
"Despite the decline in active cases, government continues to urge the general public not to get complacent but to observe the necessary preventive measures.
This includes wearing of face masks, practicing social distance, and washing of hands with soap under running water."
