The 4th edition of the SHE CAN Conference, hosted by WiNE-KNUST, took place on Friday, August 1 t at the Kumapley Auditorium under the theme “Beyond Backgrounds, She Can Become.”
The highly anticipated event brought together students, professionals, and alumni, female students from selected senior high schools, for a celebration of purpose, resilience, and leadership among young women in engineering and beyond.
With inspiring keynote speeches, performances, and networking activities, the conference’s highlight was undoubtedly the WinE Excellence Awards, aimed at recognizing and honoring outstanding female engineering students who have distinguished themselves through academic excellence, leadership, creativity, and impact.

Speaking at the event, leaders from academia and industry encouraged the youth to rise above their limitations and affirmed WinE’s continued commitment to shaping confident, capable women ready to lead change.

SHE CAN 4.0 was not only a celebration of potential and performance, but a platform that solidified the belief that every young woman, no matter her background, can become a force of impact.
