The West African Examinations Council has released provisional results for candidates who sat the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination. WAEC announced the results on Saturday, November 29, 2025, and warned that subject results for 6,295 candidates were cancelled for sending foreign materials.
The results are available online on the Ghana WAEC portal. Candidates must use a valid result checker e-voucher to access their grades. Follow these simple steps to check your WASSCE result securely.
1. Buy a result checker e-voucher
• Dial *713*3998# or visit buycheckercodes.com.gh to purchase a WASSCE result checker card.
• You will receive a serial number and a 12-digit PIN by SMS or on the voucher.
2. Visit the official results portal
• Go to the WAEC Ghana results site at https://waecgh.org/ and locate the results checking page.
3. Enter your details exactly as required
• Type your Index Number.
• Select the Type of Examination, for example WASSCE.
• Choose the Examination Year 2025.
• Enter the Serial Number from your result voucher.
• Enter the 12-digit PIN from the voucher.
• Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year to make sure they are correct.
4. Submit and view your result
• Click Submit and wait for the pop-up window to display your results. It may take several minutes so remain patient.
Important tips and warnings
• Only use the official WAEC portal to check results.
• Keep your serial and PIN private. Do not share them on social media.
• Be wary of fraudsters offering to upgrade results. WAEC has urged stakeholders to reject such offers and to report suspicious activity.
• If you cannot access your result or suspect an error, contact WAEC through its official channels for guidance.
