Natasha Osawaru Irobosa, the new lover of Nigerian music star 2face Idibia, has been removed from her position as Deputy Majority Leader in the Edo State House of Assembly.
Her removal, alongside two other lawmakers, came after the implementation of a letter from the state leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), leading to a minor reshuffle in the principal officers of the House.
Also affected were those holding the position of Chief Whip. All three lawmakers are members of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The news of Osawaru’s removal gained widespread attention, especially following her highly publicized relationship with 2face.
Recently, 2face had been seen accompanying her to political and assembly meetings, drawing considerable attention. On some occasions, his presence even caused a stir during discussions in the assembly about his relationship with Osawaru.
However, her removal has been defended as a politically motivated decision, unrelated to her personal life.
