Thirty-five year old man, Kwabena Bayor, who was suffering from a Thyroid cancer, has died. His death was reported Wednesday, March 4, 2014 at Jirapa in the Upper West Region.
Joy News' Seth Kwame Boateng last month traveled with the Yaa Afumbea Memorial Cancer Foundation and reported on the plight of the man.
Seth reported on the severity of the pain caused by the reddish boil which was gradually closing the wind pipet of Bayor to the extent that doctors said he would require a miracle to survive one more year.
Seth reported in that documentary that Kwabena Bayor struggled to speak and in agony, coughs and brings out a very brownish phlegm, in an attempt to explain how it all started.
He had been battling the cancer which had developed on the left side of his neck for four years, rendering him bed ridden.
Kwabena Bayor until his death, was married to Diana Nonpor, 25 with whom he had five children all of whom lived in a farm house at Boase in the Tano North District of the Brong Ahafo Region.
