Peter Agbotse, 61 years of Vakpo-Todzi has been remanded by a magistrate's court at Kpando for allegedly defiling two young boys, one at the premises of the Vakpo-Gboxome Catholic Church.
Agbotse, who pleaded not guilty will be brought before the court presided over by Mr Robert Agbleze on September 11.
Mr Joy Afagbedzi, Volta Regional Police Public Relations Officer, told journalists that Agbotse was said to have given the boys GH¢ 2 and GH¢ 3 to the two boys and warned them to shut up or die.
Mr Afagbedzi said Agbotse was arrested in the act, when one of his victims writhed in pain drawing passers-by to the scene at the Church premises.
They arrested and handed him over to the police at Vakpo, he said adding that when news of his arrest went round, the second victim called at the Police Station to narrate his ordeal at Agbotse's hands.
