Captain Planet, rapper and leader of music group 4x4, has hinted of the group’s comeback.
There have been rumours that the group is no more even though members have denied such reports.
These rumours gained currency after the two founding members, Captain Planet and Coded, embarked on solo careers releasing their own songs.
Commenting on the state of the group, he told Andy Dosty in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM that, they are coming back because people say it has been a while since they released a song.
Captain Planet disclosed that he spoke with Fresh Prince, also a member of the group, who is currently in the US, on plans to have him return to Ghana so they can work on their comeback.
He noted that “4x4 has not been active for the past four years” and believes that it will take a lot of work to redeem their lost glory.
The rapper said because of their long hiatus, “we would need to work hard,” to make the needed impact when they return.
