Film Director, Peter Sedufia, reveals the outcome of his collaboration with Kofi Asamoah of KOFAS media has been positive.
A few months ago, the award-winning Keteke movie producer and director, Sedufia, joined forces with known producer Kofi Asamoah to produce ‘Away Bus’.
The movie featured some of the most sought-after screen personalities. The casting for the movie was done with some pomp, the crew were filmed picking their script and endorsing the project even before take-off.
After its production, patrons thronged the Silver Bird Cinema in their numbers to see the movie during its premiere.
Speaking to Joy News’s MzGee on ‘The Gist’ on the Joy News channel, Sedufia said the collaboration resolved difficulties he and Kofi Asamoah may have faced if the project was a one-man thing.
“It has brought a lot of relief in terms of the finances we contribute to the project, logistics that we were bringing, human resources, creativity and promotion. The massive turnout and production quality were just evident,” Peter Sedufia explained.
He said that in an industry where finances are hard to come by, movie producers working together can help move the industry forward.
Peter Sedufia stated, “we witness the Hollywood production houses collaborate, we enjoy their films and we are happy they have joined forces, so why can’t we do same?”
The Gist with MzGee shows on the Joynews Channel on MultiTV and on DSTV 421 on Saturdays and Sundays at 8.30pm.
