Nigerian music star, D'banj, born Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo, has threatened to sue UK newspaper, Daily Mail for labeling him a "legendary wominizer".
The newspaper made the description in a report titled "Kenya Moore's fake 'African Prince' boyfriend, a 'rented' Bentley and massive money woes: Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore stretches reality TV to the limit".
The "legendary womanizer" tag follows allegations that D'banj might have had, or is having, a love fling with American actress, model, author, and producer, Kenya Moore.
According to the paper, "D'Banj, who splits his time between Nigeria, the UK and Lagos, is known for his playboy lifestyle as well as his music. He calls girls who are good in bed 'kokos'."
The paper further alleged that, "While he may not be quite that rich, D’Banj is a huge star in his home country, where he is renowned as a legendary womanizer,"
D'banj's "nickname is the Koko master, which is Nigerian slang for someone who has a harem of women and he has even brought out his own range of condoms." the UK Daily Mail added.
But reacting to the allegations in an interview with Nigeria's Encomium magazine, D'banj rubbished the report, insisting the paper goofed in its reportage.
He disclosed that he is currently holding discussions with his legal team and will sue the Daily Mail for defaming him.
"The story has no substance. I am even about to sue UK Daily Mail for defamation of character. I am discussing with my legal team. They didn't hear from me. Everything they wrote is totally wrong. They defined Kokomaster wrongly.
"I think they wanted to talk about Kenya Moore, who was a former Miss America, but they didn't get their facts right. Everything they wrote was false. They are going to hear from my legal team soon" D'banj threatened.
