The campus of St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School is set to be whitewashed with the glorious homecoming of old boys over the weekend.
Old Toms, as former boys of Aquinas school are called, have lined up a number of activities to make this year’s homecoming a memorable one.
As usual, the homecoming will create the opportunity for students of the Catholic boys’ day school to interact with prominent former students occupying respectable positions across the globe.
On Friday, November 7, 2014, the old students would visit their alma mater and provide counselling to students who aspire to their chosen endeavours, Joseph Loggosu, Assistant Secretary of the Old Toms explained to myjoyonline.com.
The Final year students will be given a talk on the importance of self-discipline, learning and their future professions.

A Remembrance Service Mass would be held on Saturday morning for departed old boys at the school’s main auditorium. Old Toms Bishop Boi Nai (1966) and Bishops Edoe Kumordzi (1976) would be in attendance to bless and remember departed colleagues.
The service would be followed immediately by various exciting activities outlined by the old students association, which will run late to the evening till one drops.
This is an opportune time for old students who have not seen each other for years, to network, reestablish base with the school, acquaint themselves with the developmental projects, as well as needs of the school and how they can support, Loggosu added.

“All forms of socialization like interacting with old colleagues, drinking, eating kenkey and fish, goat and pepper soup, playing of in-door games like ludo, snake & ladders , scrabbles, cards, oware etc so please don’t forget to bring your games along with you. All Old Toms are once again reminded or encouraged to subscribe to the OLD TOM BLAST by simply texting OT Old Tom to 1953 on MTN, Vodafone, and 1901 for Airtel.”
