Reigning Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year and Best New Entertainer at this year’s International Reggae and World Music Awards, Shatta Wale, known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior, is scheduled to be the headline performer at this year’s Bass Awards.
According to organizers, a crack list of other Ghanaian performers has been confirmed to perform at the 2014 Bass Awards which is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday November 29th 2014.
The artistes are Jupiter, MzVee, AK Songstress, Rashid Metal and RudeBwoyRanking.
Voting for the nominees in the five voting categories; Reggae Artiste of the Year, Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Best Reggae Collaboration, Best Dancehall Collaboration and Alternative Reggae Song of the Year ends on Friday 28th November 2014 at 12 noon.
Bass Awards is an annual awards scheme designed to award and celebrate Reggae and Dancehall musicians who have excelled in the year under review and also serves as an annual gathering of lovers of Reggae and Dancehall.
The Bass Awards is organized by Bullhaus Entertainment in collaboration with Solid Multimedia with support from Rackus Productions.
