In its quest to ensure an accident-free Christmas this festive season, Cheki.com.gh has embarked on a massive nationwide road safety campaign.

Management of the online car selling giants has hinted that preparations are far advanced to launch the campaign Wednesday December 10, to educate motorists and road users in Accra.

Country Manager of Cheki.com.gh Eric Amoako-Twum in an interview said: “This forms part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, and we are doing it to reduce road accidents this season and beyond.

“As a company that deals in vehicles, we are concerned about how safe they are on the road to avoid preventable accidents.  We have also lined up series of programs including educating motorists on road safety tips.

“Many cars have run into parked vehicles on the shoulders and middle of roads resulting in the deaths of many due to the unavailability of warning triangles.

“Cheki.com.gh believes this initiative will go a long way in preventing many preventable accidents this season and beyond.

“When you check people who lose their lives through accidents, the statistics shows clearly that most of them belong to the labour force, which has the potential to affect production.

“We need everybody alive so we can drive our beautiful nation forward,” he added.
