The mortal remains of Nollywood actor Muna Obiekwe have been laid to rest.
Several Nollywood stars attended the burial of the actor who passed away, Sunday January 18 due to complications from Renal Failure.
Notable among the personalities at the funeral which was held in Umudioka, Muna’s hometown in Anambra State on Tuesday was actor and politician, Bob Manuel.
Bob Manuel, who is seeking a seat at the Anambra State House of Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), told pressmen he was at the interment to pay his last respects to Muna, who, “though a younger colleague, gave his best to the industry.”
Also in attendance were actors, Zulu Adigwe, and Ejiro Okurame, who is said to have stood by the late actor all through his struggle with the kidney disease which eventually caused his death.
