The Weija-Gbawe chapter of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) in the Greater Accra region has called on financial institutions to stop texting or calling its members for loans with immediate effect.
According to a statement signed by Local Chairman, Nana Kusi, the incessant act has become a nuisance and gradually invading members’ privacy.
“Financial institution are entreated to deal with only their customers and adopt better marketing strategy other than these.”
He further called on the leadership of the mother Association and other teacher fraternities to join in the fight.
