Organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), Charterhouse, on Sunday, held their much-anticipated heroes concert.
The event, made possible by the Ghana Music Awards Foundation, was aimed at celebrating frontline workers helping to treat and/or limit the spread of the coronavirus.
Viewers were treated to good live band music from Kinaata, Efya, Diana Hamilton, Celestine Donkor, Joe Mettle, Kwesi Arthur, Adina, Medikal, Cynthis Thompson, MOG Music and others.
Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah, Dr Joyce Aryee, Former Chief Justice, Sophia Akuffo and other prominent persons also attended the event.
They reminded Ghanaians of the need to stay safe and obey health protocols aimed at stopping the spread of the virus.
