Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong has revealed he owns 147 houses in Accra, Tema and Kumasi.
Speaking with JoyNews’ Mamavi Owusu-Aboagye, the business magnate said these buildings have been rented to corporations in the three metropolises.
“In real estate, you don’t make that much money but it makes you comfortable,” he said.
He listed a number of estates and the amount each fetches him.
Touching on his other enterprises and strategies, Mr. Agyapong vowed never to take any of his businesses or upcoming ones to a village.
The renowned businessman says doing so is an exercise in futility as rural folk are double crossers.
“The moment you establish the business in that village, they think you are stupid. The villagers…you think you are going to create jobs for them [but they think] you are stupid,” he said.
He added: “they will mess you up.”
