Artiste Manager Mr Logic has spelt a few reasons he believes account for the downward spiral of the careers of some promising artistes.
Among the many reasons, he includes artistes focusing on side comments and violating industry players.
Mr Logic was speaking as a pundit on Joy Entertainment’s Daybreak Hitz on Tuesday.
Recounting his experience gathered in years of artiste management, he said some promising artistes focus on the side compliments they receive from random people.
“The fame gets to their head… they get other contacts, people hail them,” he said.
Mr Logic believes that artistes need to stay loyal and dedicated to plans and pathways generated in the genesis of their contracts by their management team.
Failure to ignore external influences would mean a recipe for their downfall.
Elaborating on loyalty, the entertainment pundit said artistes must desist from violating industry players.
He warned, “you’re quick to fall if you violate the people around you after you’ve seen fame”.
He also mentioned that the value of promising artistes depreciates when they subscribe to the perception of outgrowing and disassociation from their initial industry collaborators [plug] such as beatmakers, producers, and promoters.
Many young promising Ghanaian artistes did not live up to expectations, including Nii Soul, Kesse, Kumi Guitar, Okuaraseni Samuel, Awal, Rashid Metal, Ebo, Koo Ntakra, Rudebwoy Ranking, amongst others.
