The Principal of the Amedzope College of Education, Dr Dickson Tsey, has lamented the lack of a major infrastructural development in the school since its establishment some 75 years ago.
According to Dr Dickson Tsey, Management is using its scarce resources to address some immediate challenges, however, is it woefully inadequate with the growth in both students and staff population.
He noted that the abandoned four-story female hostel project which started in 2012 is yet to be completed, making teaching and learning difficult on campus.
Dr Dickson Tsey made the comments during the 15th matriculation ceremony of the Amedzope College of Education in the Ho West District of the Volta Region on Friday.

He noted that although the alumni are working hard to support the college, the support is “taking too long in getting to us."
Dr Dickson Tsey, therefore, appealed to the GETFund and by extension government, to help complete the abandoned project in order to give relief to the students.
He also called on government, philanthropists and organisations to assist with the construction of apartments for staff in cash or kind to mark this year's anniversary.
Meanwhile, to the matriculants, Dr Dickson Tsey urged them to make the best out of the resources present despite the many challenges.
He added that the recent achievements chalked by EP College of Education, Ameco should give the students an indication that the institution is a reputable one.
In all, 290 students were matriculated into the school's various department.
