The Paramount Chief of Jama Traditional Area in the Savannah Region, Nnaa Professor Lanjagor Karley, has expressed his commitment to collaborate with all traditional authorities in the region to promote education, unity and development.
He said his topmost priority is to push things of education in Jama Traditional Area and North Mo Traditional Area and the entire Savannah Region.
"Currently, I am discussing with other traditional rulers in the region about how to make education very attractive to the youth," he said.
This, according to him, will curb backwardness and vandalism and will accelerated development across the Savannah Region.
Nnaa Professor Lanjagor Karley disclosed this in an interview with Wenchi-based Radio West Africa in the Bono Region.

Known in private life as Professor Noah Kofi Karley, a professor in land economy with the Cambridge University, he became the Paramount Chief of Jama Traditional Area in January this year.
To make life better for his people, the Paramount Chief of Jama is establishing a virtual learning centre to boost access to quality education in the area.
"I have a foundation called Lanjagor Karley Foundation, and we are collaborating with an international school in Adenta to establish a virtual learning centre in the Jama traditional area to help the young people with their education," he emphasised.
Nnaa Professor Karley appealed to the various telecommunication companies in the country to assist the virtual learning centre project by ensuring that internet connectivity in the Jama area gets strong enough for the smooth running of the centre.

He stressed the need for political parties to embrace continuity in executing development projects started by previous governments.
''This will ensure accelerated development in our communities and further protect Ghana's public purse since the development projects may not be left to rot,'' he stressed.
The paramount chief of the Jama Traditional Area explained the council is developing short-term and long-term strategies to address the issue of poverty within his area.
On national development, Nnaa Professor Karley encouraged the youth to embrace communal labour to drive the national developmental agenda.
''To whip up the interest of the youth in communal labour, I will personally be involved to energise them to get involved,'' he noted.
