For the past 15 years, the month of September has held a special significance for Gospel artiste, Bernard Amankwah. It is a time of celebration and gratitude for him which he marks with his annual concert dubbed, Celebration of His Grace.
And while the month of September kicks off tomorrow, the Presence singer has already launched this year’s concert-themed, 'The Offering'.
This year’s event which is the 16th edition will be held at the National Theatre on Sunday, September 24.
At a press briefing held at Flexiclay Ghana, Accra, on Tuesday, August 29, the anticipation for the upcoming event was further heightened with the release of a new video for his song, Your Presence.
Amankwah explained that this song had a divine origin, as it is a melody that God had placed in his heart.
Each year, Celebration of His Grace brings together worshippers and Gospel music enthusiasts under one roof, creating an atmosphere of devotion and adoration.
And this year, Bernard Amankwah will be joined by iOna Reine, Perez Musik, Michael Kesse, Nii Soul, and Jayana, to uplift the spirits of patrons with songs of praise and worship.
In a conversation with Graphic Showbiz, Amankwah shared his vision for the event, highlighting how iOna Reine and Irene Logan, Kesse, Nii Soul among others, are inspirational figures who have overcome their challenges and are now a blessing to others.
He mentioned that they being part of the performing artistes on the day give more meaning to the theme of The Offering, summarising the essence of giving back and sharing blessings.
Bernard has gained notable recognition for songs like Your Presence, Mercy Rescues Me, and I'm Redeemed.
He told Graphic Showbiz that he was passionate about sharing the message of God's grace through music and his annual concert thus he is encouraging patrons to be part of this year’s show for an awesome time in the presence of the Lord.
