Sunday’s episode of Big Chef Tertiary was packed with drama as tensions in the kitchen reached a boiling point.
Team KSTU found themselves in a difficult spot after the reigning star school, HTU made a bold move by snatching their main ingredient during the intense cooking process.
The unexpected turn of events left Kumasi scrambling to come up with an alternative strategy, throwing their well-planned dish into chaos.
This happened in the middle of the "healing meal" challenge, where each team was tasked with creating a nutritious, wholesome dish - main meal and dessert aimed at soothing a hypertensive 60 year old man within 40 minutes.
With team KSTU caught off guard, they had to rely on their improvisation skills to pull something together in the limited time they had left.
Despite the setback, Kumasi’s chefs managed to present a dish to the judges, although it was clear that they struggled to recover their momentum. HTU’s bold maneuver might have paid off strategically.
At the end of the day, Koforidua Technical University stole the spotlight as they emerged star school of the week but the real surprise came at the end of the episode: no team was evicted.
The non-eviction twist was a relief to team KSTU ,TTU and CCTU as they were in the bottom three giving them another chance to prove their culinary prowess. The decision also sparked conversation among fans, with many praising Kumasi for their resilience under pressure.
As the competition heats up, the upcoming episodes promise even more unexpected twists and high-stakes cooking.
Viewers will no doubt be watching closely to see how team Koforidua will use their Vito power, how Kumasi bounces back from their rough night in the kitchen and whether HTU’s tactical play will give them an edge moving
forward.
