In a world of fleeting connections, Ajuma makes a fearless entrance into the music scene in Ghana with his debut single, ‘Suro Nipa’, out now under Dream City Entertainment.
Dream City Entertainment is Accra-based record label dedicated to finding raw talent.
With its raw message — “Be careful of humans” — ‘Suro Nipa’ isn’t just a song. It’s a wake-up call wrapped in melody. Emotional, gripping, and unflinchingly honest, the track mirrors the real-life betrayal, heartbreak, and resilience Ajuma has lived through — and now gives voice to.
“I’ve been backstabbed by people I loved. Music became the only way I could heal and speak truth without shouting,” Ajuma shares.
He says “‘Suro Nipa’ is for anyone who’s ever been let down but refuses to stay down.”
Raised in Boadua-Akwatia in Ghana’s Eastern Region, Ajuma — real name Iddrisu Baba Aliu — has crafted a sound he calls Afrosounds: a fusion of Afrobeats' infectious rhythms, Highlife's soulful melodies, and lyrical poetry's storytelling depth.
His influences span both the spiritual and the streetwise — from Black Sherif, Daddy Lumba, and Kwabena Kwabena to Burna Boy
While ‘Suro Nipa’ is Ajuma’s debut release, the intensity and clarity of his storytelling reveal an artiste with lived experience and a clear mission — to turn pain into power and music into movement. Listen to ‘Suro Nipa’ on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms.

Signed to Dream City Entertainment, Ajuma is building a legacy. Expect a steady rollout of music, visuals, and collaborations as he finds his place among Ghana’s most emotionally resonant voices.
