Football administrators, coaches, and enthusiasts gathered at the Socaloca headquarters in Accra for a one-day workshop designed to demonstrate how the innovative App can revolutionize football operations at both grassroots and professional levels.
The session focused on equipping participants with the knowledge to harness the app’s full potential—transforming how players, teams, scouts, and organizers engage within the football ecosystem.
Socaloca, a groundbreaking platform, enables users to create, join, and manage football teams, tournaments, and leagues from anywhere in the world.
Beyond organising fixtures, the app collects valuable fan and player data, streams video content, and offers real-time statistics, providing football bodies and policymakers with tools for smarter decision-making.
Jephthah Vanderpuije, Head of Operations, Partnerships, Communications, and Marketing at Socaloca, emphasized the app’s relevance for African football.
At Socaloca, we saw the gap, not just in Ghana but across Africa. So much talent, so much potential, but very little structure, data and visibility. That’s what inspired the creation of our platform, a space where football lives in full detail.”
He urged local football stakeholders to embrace digital solutions and shift their approach to development.
“Let’s go from managing clubs and players with pen and paper to running them with purpose and precision. Let’s turn our potential into power, powered by the right tools, the right people and the right attitude” he added.
In an era where young talents are often exploited under the guise of overseas opportunities, the Socaloca App offers a safe and structured alternative.
The platform provides a secure space for scouts, agents, and coaches to discover and engage with players using verified data, minimizing risk and boosting transparency.
