Deputy Roads Minister and Member of Parliament for Tamale North, Alhassan Suhuyini, has described former President John Dramani Mahama as the undisputed “Infrastructure King” of Ghana.
According to him, Mr Mahama's track record in delivering transformational infrastructure across sectors stands tall, and Ghanaians can trust him to deliver even more if re-elected.
Speaking on Metro TV on Friday, August 1, Mr Suhuyini said the evidence of Mr Mahama’s achievements is visible across the country.
“From roads and hospitals to schools and water systems, there’s no part of this country that hasn’t benefitted from John Mahama’s vision. He set the standard and remains unmatched,” he stated.
Mr Suhuyini dismissed suggestions that the former President would fail to meet the expectations of Ghanaians if given another mandate.
“He has done it before under tougher conditions, and he certainly won’t disappoint this time. His passion for inclusive development is unquestionable,” he added.
The Deputy Minister further indicated that the next National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, under Mahama’s leadership, would prioritise infrastructure that creates jobs and boosts economic productivity.
“It’s not just about building; it’s about building with purpose, and that is what Mahama represents,” he stressed.
