The Ecobank-JoyNews Habitat Fair concluded on a high note today, drawing a mammoth crowd to the Ghud Park near the Accra Mall for the final day of what has been a highly successful three-day housing showcase.
Running from Friday, September 12, through Sunday, September 15, the fair brought together thousands of prospective homeowners, real estate investors, and industry professionals under one roof, offering a rare blend of business, education, and entertainment all aimed at tackling Ghana’s housing challenges head-on.

Adding extra star power to the final day was Ghanaian music sensation King Promise, who made a surprise appearance, thrilling fans and participants alike.

A Platform with Purpose
The fair served as a timely intervention in the face of Ghana’s housing deficit, currently estimated at over 2 million units.

It provided attendees with practical tools and access to essential information for navigating the property market, particularly for first-time buyers and young families.

More than 50 exhibitors took part, ranging from top-tier real estate developers and construction firms to interior designers and financial institutions.

The diverse exhibition allowed visitors to explore a wide range of housing options from budget-friendly starter homes to high-end, luxury residences.

Final-Day Deals and Offers
Today’s closing presented one last opportunity for attendees to snap up exclusive offers, including discounts on building materials, special furniture packages, and reduced mortgage processing fees, thanks in large part to the event’s platinum sponsor, Ecobank Ghana PLC.

Education Meets Opportunity
Beyond the marketplace, the fair also doubled as a critical learning hub. Throughout the weekend, participants attended a series of free seminars and workshops led by industry experts, covering topics such as property financing, sustainable building, and interior design trends.

The organisers have urged the public to keep an eye on the major October edition, which promises to be even bigger, building on the momentum and success of this weekend’s event.
