Rebranded and restructured Division One League side Wa Power Sporting Club are gearing up for the 2025/26 season with renewed optimism.
The Wa-based club is entering its third campaign in the second tier since earning promotion, having finished fourth and fifth respectively in its previous two seasons.
Ahead of the new term, the club has undertaken major changes to its management and technical departments.
On the technical side, experienced coach David Nyaaba has been appointed head coach and is expected to guide the team to greater heights.
On the administrative front, rising football executive Stephen Puro Jnr has been named the new Chief Executive Officer. Puro Jnr previously served as CEO of Techiman Eleven Wonders, where he oversaw their promotion, and now joins Wa Power with a mandate to help transform the club alongside Coach Nyaaba.
To strengthen the squad, several high-profile signings have been made, including players from the Premier League and other Division One League sides, to bolster the existing roster.
Supporters and well-wishers of the club are eagerly anticipating the impact of these new additions as Wa Power Sporting Club seeks to improve on its recent campaigns.
The team will kick off the new season at home against Yapei United FC on Sunday, 28 September 2025.
