President John Mahama has reiterated his administration’s determination to advance a transparent and accountable governance framework, assuring that the fight against corruption will remain a strategic national priority.
Addressing the Christian Council at the Presidency on Tuesday, the President underscored that his government would act with impartiality and fairness in dealing with all corruption-related matters.
He stressed that no case would be treated with favour or prejudice, noting that integrity must anchor the nation’s public institutions.
"The fight against corruption, we are committed to it. We will be impartial and fair," the president said.
President Mahama further pledged enhanced operational backing for anti-corruption agencies, indicating that they would receive the requisite resources and institutional support to strengthen their mandates.
"We are working to strengthen the institutions and make sure that we give them the logistics that they deserve. Many of them have asked for more trained investigators, and to train some more of their investigators in evidence gathering and docket building," he said.
