Multiple award winning Ghanaian rapper and songwriter Amerado has officially announced the 2025 edition of his flagship live music event, My Motherland Concert, scheduled for Sunday, 28th December 2025 at the iconic Okese Park in Ejisu.
Widely regarded as one of the biggest annual artiste led concerts outside Accra, My Motherland Concert has grown into a cultural movement that celebrates music, community, and national pride.
Over the past two consecutive years, the event has attracted audiences exceeding 10,000 patrons per edition, reinforcing its status as a major fixture on Ghana’s entertainment calendar.
Despite being a free entry concert, My Motherland Concert rivals some of the country’s most prominent ticketed shows in terms of attendance, production value, and artiste line up. Its scale and impact place it in the same conversation as leading Accra based events such as Rapperholic and Zaama Disco, underscoring Amerado’s influence and strong grassroots connection with fans.
The 2025 edition promises an even more electrifying experience, featuring high energy performances, surprise guest appearances, and a celebration of Ghanaian music and culture, with Amerado headlining the night. The concert continues to serve as a platform for unity, youth engagement, and the promotion of homegrown talent.
Speaking ahead of the announcement, Amerado described My Motherland Concert as more than just a show.
“This concert represents my roots, my people, and my responsibility to give back through music. Ejisu is home, and every year we raise the bar,” he said.
Fans, music lovers, and cultural enthusiasts are encouraged to mark their calendars and be part of what promises to be one of the most talked about live music events of the festive season.
