On January 1, 2026, Adom FM invites Ghana and the world to begin the year the right way: dressed in white, rooted in culture, and wrapped in timeless sound.
It is what Ghana’s number one radio station calls ‘Strictly Highlife’, an event that is more than a festive hangout.
Strictly Highlife is a deliberate celebration of Highlife music, the genre that taught Africa how to dance with dignity and groove with soul.
From palm-wine melodies to orchestral brilliance, guitar-led rhythms to modern big-band sounds, every shade of Highlife finds a home here.
The maiden edition on January 1, 2025, set the tone, but the next one raises the bar.

Set against the elegant backdrop of the Palms Convention Centre, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, this all-white year-beginner party promises class, nostalgia, and nonstop vibes.
Two of Ghana’s most respected musical curators, Andy Dosty and Billy Ocean, will take turns behind the decks, delivering carefully selected Highlife gems that span generations.

That will not be all: Add live band performances, and you have a full-bodied musical experience – rich, warm, and unmistakably Ghanaian.
But Strictly Highlife is also about how you enjoy the night.

Each package is designed to let guests focus on what truly matters: the music, the moment, and the memories.

As part of the celebration, Adom FM will honour distinguished Highlife musicians with special citations, recognising the men and women who carried this genre on their backs and passed it on to the next generation.
It’s respect. It’s gratitude. It’s history being given its flowers live, on stage.
Whether you’re home in Ghana or reconnecting from the diaspora, Strictly Highlife is your cultural reset button for 2026.
One night. One dress code. One hundred years of music that refuses to age.
Strictly Highlife. No shortcuts. No remixes. Just the real thing.
