BrainWave AfricaTech has announced the appointment of Caleb Jimoh as its Innovation and Product Development Lead, a move the company says will strengthen its focus on product-led growth and the delivery of scalable digital solutions across Africa.
In his new role, Caleb will lead the company’s innovation and product development strategy, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to deployment, while establishing delivery frameworks to ensure quality, consistency and scalability across multiple markets.
Caleb, a trained legal technologist, brings international experience from leading law firms in the United Kingdom, including Linklaters and Bird & Bird. During his time with these firms, he worked on AI-enabled transformation initiatives, automation and process optimisation within highly regulated environments.
He holds an LLB from the University of Kent and an LLM in Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law from Queen Mary University of London.
Commenting on his appointment, Caleb said Africa’s future depends on building systems that can operate across borders and handle complex, real-world challenges.
“BrainWave AfricaTech is positioning itself at the centre of this shift, and I am pleased to contribute to building technology that is designed in Africa, for Africa, and competitive globally,” he said.
The Chief Executive Officer of BrainWave AfricaTech, Angela Kyerematen-Jimoh, described the appointment as strategic, noting that Caleb’s approach aligns with the company’s long-term vision.
“Caleb brings a disciplined, execution-driven approach to innovation and delivery that aligns strongly with our strategic direction. His expertise will be critical in strengthening our product capabilities and supporting our expansion across African markets,” she said.
BrainWave AfricaTech provides Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products and technology consulting services tailored to enterprise and government clients, alongside its BrainWave AfricaTech Academy, which focuses on digital and AI upskilling and reskilling.
Founded by former executives from global technology firms such as IBM and Microsoft, the company aims to drive efficiency, growth and digital transformation across the African continent.
