London is set to pulse with Ghanaian rhythm and pride as the Nkyinkyim Band headlines a special Ghana Independence celebration in the UK this March.
The live music event, titled “Ghana Independence UK with Nkyinkyim Band,” promises an energetic night of Afro-fusion, highlife, and contemporary Ghanaian sounds.
The concert will take place on Friday, 13 March, at The Royal Regency in East London, with activities kicking off at 8:00 p.m. sharp. The venue, located at 501 High Street North, E16 6TH, is expected to welcome a diverse crowd of music lovers and members of the Ghanaian diaspora coming together to mark Ghana’s independence in style.
Known for their electrifying live performances and rich blend of traditional and modern African music, the Nkyinkyim Band will lead the celebration, delivering a performance that reflects Ghana’s cultural depth and creative energy.
Tickets are available via Eventbrite, with prices set at £30 for Standard, £40 for VIP, and £60 for VVIP, offering fans different levels of access and experience.
Nonetheless, organisers say the concert is not just a music show but a cultural gathering aimed at celebrating Ghana’s independence, heritage, and global influence through music and performance.
As Ghana’s Independence season continues to be marked across the world, London’s celebration with the Nkyinkyim Band is shaping up to be one of the standout cultural events of the season.
