The first day of the JoyNews Republic Bank Habitat Fair 2026 mini-fair has ended on a positive note, with prospective homeowners, property investors, builders and other visitors turning up at the Achimota Mall to explore opportunities across Ghana’s housing and construction sector.
The three-day event, which officially opened on Friday, August 21, brought together businesses and industry players offering a wide range of property, construction and home-related products and services.

Throughout Day 1, exhibitors engaged visitors, providing information, expert guidance and practical solutions on areas including home ownership, construction and property investment.
The fair, themed “Dream it. Explore it. Own it,” is providing patrons with an opportunity to interact directly with businesses and professionals while exploring products and services that can support their housing ambitions.

The positive response on the opening day has set the tone for the rest of the weekend, with patrons expected to return on Saturday for further engagements with exhibitors.
The fair will continue on Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23, from 8am to 8pm each day at the Achimota Mall.

Visitors on Day 2 will have another opportunity to explore property and home-related offers, seek expert advice and engage businesses operating across the housing ecosystem.

The event is being organised in partnership with Republic Bank under its “We’re the one for you!” brand promise and powered by Drive EV GH, which promotes sustainable mobility.
Other partners supporting the initiative include Virtual Security Africa, Akwaaba Building Materials, Lesh Fortune Ltd, MTN, Door Masters, Ayuda, Western Vilas, CTECHI Ghana LTD, Saint-Gobain Ghana, Sintex Tank, Interplast and Clifton Homes.

The mini-fair forms part of activities leading up to the main Republic Bank JoyNews Habitat Fair 2026, which seeks to connect prospective homeowners with businesses and professionals across Ghana’s housing and property sector.

As Day 1 drew to a close, organisers encouraged the public to make the most of the remaining two days by visiting the Achimota Mall, engaging exhibitors and exploring opportunities to turn their housing aspirations into reality.

The public is encouraged to “get a house, make it a home” as the Habitat Fair continues through the weekend.
