The Kasoa Ofaakor Court has remanded into police custody a 44-year-old man accused of sexually abusing his four daughters at Gomoa Dominase in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

Emmanuel Ekumfi is facing allegations of sexually abusing the children, including claims of defilement and sodomy.

He is scheduled to appear before the court on September 15, 2026.

The case came to light after the mother of the children, Antoinette Boakye, reportedly noticed unusual symptoms in her eldest daughter and questioned her about them.

The mother alleges that the girl disclosed that her father had sexually abused her and further claimed that three of her younger sisters had also suffered similar abuse.

The matter was subsequently reported to the Kasoa Millennium City Police, leading to the arrest and prosecution of the accused.

The distraught mother, in an interview with Adom News, appealed for an expeditious hearing of the case while calling for the necessary protection and support for her daughters.

The allegations have not been proven in court, and the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
