Gospel Act Minister Sonnie Badu has been nominated to receive a Prestigious Degree of Excellence Award.
A letter of nomination, signed by Bishop Dr. Peter Kayode Falarungbon, the Ghana National Prelate, indicated that Sonnie Badu was nominated for his contribution to the religious, economic, business and social growth of Ghana.
“The screening body of this institution has found you worthy of the Prestigious Degree of Excellence Award and you have been nominated by the Screening Committee to be honoured among the few deserving persons who have contributed to the Political. Religious, Economic, Business and Social Growth of this country.”
The university explained awardees were selected on their individual merits based on personal data finding conducted by the resource management experts who are responsible for such awards.
The ceremony is on Saturday June 13, 2015 at the Trade Fair Complex, La– Accra.
According to the organizers, the event will be a unique one graced by European and American delegates of the University, who will confer the prestigious award on recipients.
Sonnie Badu will be honored together with some nine other Ghanaians, including actress Joselyn Dumas.
This will be Minister Sonnie Badu’s fourth award for this year.
Meanwhile, Sonnie Badu, who is busy on his worship conferences in America, has been touched by the plight of Ghanaians and is raising monies from Ghanaians in abroad to donate to individual flood survivors who got burnt during the fire explosion at the Goil filling station.
