The Chief Executive Officer of the Holy Trinity Spa and Resort has dismissed suggestions by the Majority Leader that the services rendered by the spa were substandard.Dr Felix Anyah has defended the conduct of his staff who Majority Leader Alban Bagbin says do not observe good ethical standards.Alban Bagbin, who was a guest of the spa at a recent workshop organized for MPs, is reported to have taken issue with the manner staff of the spa treated customers.According to a GNA report, Mr Bagbin made the comments at the launch of a tourist publication. But the CEO of the spa Dr Felix Anyah who spoke to Joy News on Monday said Mr Bagbin’s comments are misplaced. He wondered why Mr Bagbin had failed to raise those concerns when the two of them met earlier during the programme. Dr Anyah expressed worry that such complaints could go public when he is working hard to boost preference for Ghana as a tourism destination.“We are pioneering something that will help mother Ghana push the tourism sector from the fourth place, probably, to second place as a revenue earner for this country,” he told Joy News Editor Matilda Asante Asiedu.Reports circulating in the media indicate Mr Bagbin had attended the conference with a “special guest” who was expected to be served in the spa restaurant but refused and rather demanded that her food be served her in her room.Dr Anyah said he was not interested in litigation but would react with a rejoinder to what he sees as an obvious untruth about his services at the internationally famed spa.Industry players describe the spa as one of the best in the country, attracting tourists from around the world.Source: Joy News/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
