Hearts of Oak are close to securing the services of former Asante Kotoko Coach Paa Kwesi Fabian to lead the club in next season’s Premier League.
Coach Fabian will replace former coach Yusif Abubakar who was sacked for technical incompetence.
Coach Fabian will be expected to reorganize and guide the Phobians to clinch the Premier League title which they failed to defend last season.
Coach Fabian was ordered to take a six-week leave after a string of unimpressive results recorded at Asante Kotoko last season.
Management member of Hearts of Oak Frank Nelson told Joy Sports the club believes in the expertise of Coach Fabian.
"It is not a speculation it is a fact. We are in talks in Paa Kwesi Fabian and 99 per cent I can tell we have concluded the deal,” he said.
He said management has absolute faith in the coach despite concerns from certain quarters that Fabian did not perform when he was appointed coach of rival club Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
