MTN FA Cup champions Nations FC have been drawn against Malian side FC Diarra in the first preliminary round of the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup.
The first leg is scheduled to be played between September 4 and 6, with the return leg taking place from September 11 to 13.
Nations FC, should they progress, will face the winner of the tie between Niger's AS Zam and Burkina Faso's ASKO de Kara in the second preliminary round.
The upcoming campaign marks a historic milestone for Nations FC, as it will be the club's first-ever appearance in a CAF-sanctioned competition. The Abrankese-based side secured qualification after lifting the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup, earning the right to represent Ghana on the continental stage.
